Description
Feeling pretty productive tonight. After working on some comic stuff I started doodling Sahako, one of the alien characters, to better understand his face. Need to hammer out some of his other features, but, his face has always been the most difficult.
Also... needed to scribble out a super detailed roark forehead. It felt good to draw in all of the scales and tiny little feathers the grow in between or around them... especially since I'm re-evaluating some of the fine detail in their anatomy, including what their feathers do along their bodies in comparison to what the scales do, and a solution the wings when not in use which has always bothered me. (I forgot the second eyes...)

I love the insane level of variety in your creatures, your design skills never fail to impress! 
The details are stunning as ever, and ha, the super-detailed Roark forehead is fantastic. In fact, amongst foreheads, it may be one of my all-time favourites. <3
Love the tiny scales and feathers combined with each other, and I love the detailed studies of your Roarks, ALWAYS. <3
Sahako is fascinating anyway, I'm curious as to what role he has - his face reminds me somewhat of a tapir with hints of pig, but there's also something vaguely birdlike about his look (perhaps reminding me of bald chicks a bit). Very nice work anyway, as ever! ^^
