Doodling some general designs before converting them to Hup viable species.  Some of these will probably never end up being Hup creatures.

At the top we have a Whaltug, which is the alien species that orekroarks were bred with in order to obtain the standard domestic strain that is now a popular pet animal across the galaxy.  Whaltug are about as intelligent as collies, and decently expressive animals.  domestic orekroark strains maintain the eye whiskers, cleft lip and oil skin present on their whaltug ancestor.
next, worm/snake/crab creature that lives in water on Hup.  It is an air breathing, filter feeder with a cartilaginous skeleton, and uses its flat shovel shaped head to burrow into sand to hide or feed.
Next, an armored creature I am debating about.  I think it lives in plains lands, and I can't decide if I want it to be a predator scavenger or an herbivore.  If it does end up being a Hup creature, it will need to undergo a change to incorporate either a third set of limbs, whether they be small and minimal or big enough to support weight... or it will have to have a change in the head to maintain a quadrupedal stance.  But I like the head, so maybe it will have little fingers with spikes, or display modules.
I just drew this around those back legs.  Probably will not end up being a Hup creature because it has fur.  Fur and hair is rare on Hup, and usually only very small animals have it.
The last creature doesn't have a body design, but I am stuck on the head.  I am trying to figure out the organs on its head, and how it uses them as alternate means of sight, whether it be through electro or vibrational detection.  I can't decide if those little bubble domes would be filled with liquid(too heavy?) or a form of gas to help amplify and identify for the organs they sit on.
