Unstoppable (CoL)
There was a new life, a new energy, a power that he had not felt in a long time… it cracked through his body like lightning, energizing every fiber of his body, from the very tips of his claws down to the long fur of his tail. So many others faced the battles and felt despair or fell quickly to the savage claws of the beasts. Their bodies littered the rocky beach, frantic helpers attempting to drag the wounded away. Even a week later, the devastation was still visible, still scarring the landscape like an infected wound. The rain that failed to stop did nothing to wash away the bloodstains. Reaching up, they felt below the thick metal where one of the aquatic beasts had clawed right though their scales… the savage wound cracked them right in half before the hard keratin growths finally deflected the metal claw of the last beast. Toba and rainier still scowled at how that red and black marked rage blinded animal had managed to injure him. They glanced out at the uneasy ocean, it’s
