Hup -singing sisters-

I had a strange vision of these two yesterday.  These two lovelies come from the sister continent on Hup from strains similar to the tropical breeds on the main continent.  The two are connected by a belt of islands.
Anyways, life on the sister continent is a little more difficult.  It sits in the 'Hot zone' of Hup, where the planet is more exposed.  There are many toxic and tough plants, and few prey.  But somewhere near the center rules a single small pack of orekroark who have mastered a very strange vocal, that when played with the wind entices other animals to it.  This pitch is known to be confusing, entrancing and beautiful, thus they are known as the sirens of Hup.  The singing must be taught down to their young, and originated from the first female that rooted the pack.  This method of hunting is effective for them, where going out in search of food is more exhausting than it is rewarding.  Normally, sirens sing in pairs, waiting for something to come close and then leap upon it.  Other orekroark from neighboring packs are not spared from this treatment, and are just as likely to become a meal, however, Sirens will in their culture thank and honor their slaughtered kind by adorning their skulls and placing them within their grave zones as if their own.
These two are most likely mother and daughter rather than sisters, but, you never know.
